Refund Policy

Draft. This document is a working template. It has not been reviewed by legal counsel and should not be relied on as a final agreement before launch.

1.The short version

Access payments are non-refundable by default — they unlock unlimited booking for 30 days the moment they succeed. We make two exceptions: a duplicate charge, or a technical issue that prevented you from booking any sessions in your access window.

2.When you can request a refund

  • Duplicate charge: you were billed twice for the same access window in error. Email us within 14 days.
  • Booking blocked by a technical issue: Bloom infrastructure prevented you from booking any session inside your access window, and we couldn’t resolve it in time. Email us before the window expires.
  • Bloom-cancelled access: if Bloom cancels your account or revokes access through no fault of yours, we refund the unused portion pro-rata.

3.What is not refundable

  • Change of mind after the access window has been used to book sessions.
  • Sessions you didn’t attend (no-shows). With unlimited booking inside your window, the practical fix is to book another slot.
  • Renewals you didn’t intend — we always show the price and confirmation step before charging.

4.How to request a refund

Email support@bloomschool.academy within 14 days of the charge, with the date of the payment and a brief description of the issue. We reply within one business day.

5.How the refund is processed

Refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method. They typically settle within 5 business days but can take up to 10 depending on your bank. Refunding a payment does not automatically revoke an active access window — if a refund means access should be withdrawn, we’ll adjust your account when the refund is issued.

6.Cancelled sessions by Bloom

If Bloom cancels a session you booked (illness, technical outage, etc.), we’ll notify you by email and the slot is released back to your account so you can book a replacement. Cancellations by Bloom do not consume any portion of your access window.

7.Disputes

If you believe a payment was unauthorised, contact us first — a refund is usually faster than a card-network dispute. If we can’t resolve a refund request to your satisfaction, you retain all rights provided by your payment provider and applicable consumer-protection law.
